Les Soirées Schmooze – Ottawa, June 21st, 2011

Hello all! The first event was a huge success! All in all, between 40-45 people over the course of the night (I was trying to keep track, but I was having too much fun running around meeting new people).

At the next regular event, we will recap and bounce some ideas around for the next Schmooze (probably in 6-8 weeks) to generate some more buzz and to get more people out!

A big thanks to The Aulde Dubliner Pour House for hosting us too! Great job.

Should be a great event.  This is happening the same night as Digi60 across the street.

Bonnie, fresh back from Banff, sat down and we had a conversation about the Ottawa Web Series Community (hence why I started the new online group) and we all talked about the “industry” in Ottawa.

SINCERUS Treatment by John.

The cutoff date to submit scripts or treatment documents is June 12th.  We review up to 4 scripts/treatment/synopsis documents per meeting.  If you want to participate with a document, or provide feedback to the other members, please send an email to thewritersroomottawa@gmail.com.  You will be added to the script repository, where you can deposit your document or pickup documents to review.  Only those who request access will be granted permissions to the repository to keep it fair for all participants.
